Born in Illinois to immigrant parents, my name is Lucero. It's very nice to meet you!

As far as I could remember, music has always been part of my life and for the longest time, sounds were more than a sense of expression, but also a constant presence in our lives, whether it is audible or felt. When I went into theatre, I did not begin a sound designer, but as a crew member for set and costumes. However, throughout my experiences in education and in the real world, I discovered how I could incorporate my personal rhythm into a series of sounds that can influence and captivate an audience into an immersive world that is theatre.
